 Parents Weekly Virtual

January 1, 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope that the winter break gave you some well-deserved family time and recovery as we head into 2021.  We are quickly approaching the end of the first semester and, unfortunately, circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic do not appear to be changing favorably.  It was my hope that we would be closer to returning to normal operation, however, it appears that we will continue our dual instructional platform for the immediate future.

As we prepare for the second semester, it is important that I hear from you if you wish to change the model of instruction your child is currently receiving.   Click this link, to make your selection.    For example, if your child is currently remote and you want them to come face-to-face, you should complete the Instructional Model Change form.   Respond by clinking on the link below.  If you are not able to respond online, call the school at 713-748-0030 for assistance.  Please respond by Monday, January 11, 2021 to ensure we are able to plan for social distancing and safety.   Selections are binding from January 22 – March 3, 2021.

It is important that each of your student’s have access to the technology necessary for daily participation in classwork.   If your child still needs technology (whether virtual or face-to-face), click this link to complete the attached Technology Device Request form:  Technology Request Form!

We will use these forms to begin scheduling distribution for the week of

January 11 -15.   TO READ MORE CLICK HERE!

School Board Recognition Month

Pro-Vision Educational Services is pleased to join schools districts across the nation in recognizing January as School Board Recognition Month.  Our dedicated, knowledgeable and hard-working Board of Trustees has been unwavering in its commitment to our students. The beloved television host, Mr. Fred Rogers, once said that anyone who does something to help a child is a hero.  This certainly describes our Board of Trustees:  Janelle James (President),  Ira Wiezel  (Secretary),  John Collier,  Edna Forte’,  Paul Steets

Interim Superintendent Warner Ervin said, “As we celebrate these exceptional individuals for their hard work and commitment, let us remember that this is an unpaid job that requires countless hours, away from their families and personal lives, to ensure that our district remains focused on our mission to educate students, and that we do so in a clean and safe environment.”

We thank our Board of Trustees for their leadership during this unprecedented time, and we look forward with hope to 2021.

Dear Pro-Vision Parents/Guardians:

The purpose of this message is to appeal directly to you to recommit to doing all you can to help eradicate the COVID-19 virus.  The virus is damaging our economy, our children's education and our family's health.  We are in a situation where the actions of a few people can greatly affect the life of many other people. Please review the points below and share them accordingly.

Stay vigilant.  The coronavirus pandemic continues to surge throughout Harris County and the Greater Houston area.  It remains vital that we continue to follow the CDC guidelines: Wear a Mask, Wash Our Hands, Practice Safe Distancing.  The months are dragging on, but we cannot become complacent.
